The Giaguaro Ndebele is a limited edition of 120 pieces, characterized by a double-sided printing on metallized acetate, with custom engravings and aubergine Zeiss lenses. Taking its name from the combination of one of SUPER’s silhouettes and a truly inspirational tribe from southern Africa. The Ndebele culture has inspired a whole new world that brings out the colors and culture of these people through the sunglasses, with the special print deriving from Ndebele murals: large and colorful geometric patterns that women paint on their houses.

A Dior Homme pop-up store opened in SoHo on April 16 and will remain the sole Dior Homme boutique in New York until September 2012, while its flagship store at 17 East 57th Street is closed for renovation and expansion. Stocking merchandise across all categories including ready-to-wear, footwear, eyewear, leather goods, watches, jewelry and fragrances, the luxe pop-up store also marries distinctly traditional elements with contemporary touches to reflect the timeless chic of Dior Homme. Scottish artist Robert Montgomery adds post-situationist appeal with a subversive word piece from his “Recycled Sunlight” series — an imposing but elegant sculpture presides over the store bearing an abstract message for the stylish.
